>Yes, you will want to refer to it for placement of inspection holes, drain grommets, control cables, etc. Referring to the old fabric can save you a lot of time in placing these items. You should understand, however, that placement may not be correct.

Should I do anything special when removing the old fabric?
>When you remove old fabric do so very carefully. Cut it loose with a razor blade or sharp knife and try to keep it in tact. Look for accuracy of the placement of inspection holes, etc. The person who covered it originally may not have had these in the right place.
